Every row, column, and diagonal in this 3×3 grid sums to 15.
The Rules
The grid uses the whole numbers from 1 to n² (9 numbers in a 3×3, 16 in a 4×4, 25 in a 5×5) — each number is placed exactly once.
Blue cells are your starting clues and cannot be changed.
Every row must sum to the magic constant shown above the grid.
Every column must sum to the magic constant.
Both diagonals (corner to corner) must sum to the magic constant.
The magic constant is fixed by the grid size: 15 for 3×3, 34 for 4×4, 65 for 5×5.
Playing
Select an empty cell, then type a number or tap it on the number pad.
The number pad greys out digits you've already placed, so you always know what's left to place.
There's no live right/wrong feedback while you play — that's deliberate, so you solve it with logic rather than trial and error. Use Check Answers whenever you want a progress read.
Check Answers marks filled cells green or red without revealing the correct number.
Reveal Solution shows the full answer and ends the current attempt.
Use Pause to freeze the timer, and Save Game to store your progress and resume later.
Reveal the solution?
This fills in the complete answer and ends your current attempt. It won't count as a solve, and your timer will stop.
